Humble Daisy donates all proceeds from software sales to Haiti Relief

Ann Arbor, MI    Jan 19, 2010 in Announcements

[prMac.com] Ann Arbor, MI - Michigan - Humble Daisy, Inc will participate in Indie Relief and donate one days proceeds to the relief effort happening in Haiti. All profits from ProfCast and SonicPics will be donated to Unicef to aid their Haiti relief efforts.

"The people of Haiti have been dealt a tremendous blow and we feel that it is important to help in any way we can." explained David Chmura, Humble Daisy's CEO. "If we can entice people to contribute by donating our software, well, that's a no brainer."

Indie Relief is a charity event to raise money for Haitian earthquake victims through the sale of Mac and iPhone software. Over 125 companies are participating with over 200 applications available. Users can also donate directly, without purchasing the applications.

SonicPics allows users to create and narrate custom photo slide shows on their iPhone or iPod Touch. SonicPics makes it easy to add images from the iPhone's photo library or camera, arrange the photos however you would like and then record a voiceover narrating the images as you swipe through them. Once you are finished, you can create an enhanced m4v video with your images synchronized to your narration, complete with chapter markers. You can share your recording with your family and friends, or even the world.

ProfCast allows live presentation recording, synchronization of slides with audio, PowerPoint support, and media generation. All of these elements of a presentation, including slide timings, bullet point builds and voice narration are seamlessly recorded and integrated into the final recording. ProfCast allows users to record their presentation as they give it, and create enhanced media files for online distribution.

Pricing and Availability:
SonicPics can be found on the Apple iTunes App Store. It can be downloaded onto the iPhone or iPod Touch for only $2.99 (USD). ProfCast is priced at $59.95 (USD) for a single-user license and can be purchased from the ProfCast web site.
