iDefer 1.1.0 Lets You Organize Procrastination

Birmingham, AL    Aug 23, 2010 in Productivity

[prMac.com] Birmingham, Alabama - Volantec.biz announced today the release of version 1.1.0 of their iOS4 iPhone app iDefer. iDefer offers a customizable snooze to handle many scenarios not easily handled by standard alarm clocks. Use iDefer to configure multiple programmable snooze times or periods, create a todo item on your task list, or delegate the alert to someone else in your address book.

For example, let's say you commute by train and normally take the 5:45pm home, but we all know there are days when you just have to get that one last thing done ... You can set a programmable snooze so that when the alert pops up, a single tap will tell iDefer to remind you again at 6:30 to catch the 6:47 train, or if you're still not done, remind you again at 7:20 to catch the 7:35.

Or, maybe your exercise routine includes waking up at 6am 3 times a week for a morning swim. Setting a conditional snooze will remind you to make up for a missed swim with a walk during lunch break. iDefer also makes it easy to remember to take out the garbage on Tuesdays and Fridays by setting an alert for 7am with a 10 minute snooze.

Feedback for version 1.0.0 has been positive: "Love the simplicity of the design and function. Provides a unique way to manage alerts and snooze settings for reminders. Also a neat way to shift alerts into a built-in To Do list. Developer is really responsive too." - Sandy
