Mobile connection manager gets price cut and supports more modems

[prMac.com] Berlin, Germany - nova media today unveiled launch2net version 1.8.8.4. launch2net is an Internet connection wizard which allows to establish mobile Internet connections worldwide. The new release supports additional modems from Option and Vodafone. At the same time, the price of launch2net is cut by 40%. The software supports many mobile phones, most USB modems and datacards available worldwide and already includes drivers and network access information for a hassle free global online experience.

"launch2net is the perfect alternative for any mobile connection manager which does not support additional network operators or which offers only limited functionality."

One of the key features is the menu bar icon. Even if launch2net is not running, it allows to connect and to disconnect to the mobile Internet in the most convenient way. In addition, launch2net offers advanced statistic information on the time and data volume spent online and features the ability to auto-connect or to disconnect after a certain time or data limit has been reached.

launch2net 1.8.8.4 features support for the Option ICON 431, Vodafone USB-Stick K3715, as well as the Vodafone MCC Option Express E3730. The update is free for current owners of a valid launch2net license.

Pricing and Availability:
launch2net is available online for Euro 49.90 (US-$ 41.39 for residents in the US and Canada). System requiremens are Mac OS X 10.4.11, 10.5.2 or higher and a supported mobile device and mobile network operator.
