Vienna,  AT   Sep 16, 2009 in Utility

[prMac.com] Vienna, Austria - Dare to be Creative today announced the release of Renamer 4.0, an update to its batch file renaming application for Mac OS X. As part of the rebranding effort, the company also recently acquired the renamer dot com domain. The COO is confident users will benefit from the new version, "We invested strongly in making file renaming both easy and enjoyable."

Features:
* Search and replace for text in filenames
* Insert, overwrite and remove characters from filenames
* Number files
* Convert between upper-, lower- and mixed case
* Group rename task into chains
* Rename directly from Finder with the system menu plugin
* Randomly rename files

* Mac OS X Version 10.5 or higher
* Universal Binary for PowerPC and Intel
