Sunstorm Interactive Gets Back to Business after Long Break

New York, NY    Oct 27, 2009 in Gaming

[prMac.com] Indianapolis, Indiana - The company that gained recognition of PC gamers from every corner of the world as the developer of Deer Hunter game is now ready to conquer the iPhone market with their new line of amazingly realistic hunting games. The first in a series of hunting games is named Real Deer Hunting and will soon be available on the App Store. There is a complete catalog of other titles in development covering a wide variety of game genres that will be released in the next few months.

Sunstorm Interactive won its fame in 1997 as a developer of the original Deer Hunter game which went on to become the number one selling game of the year. With the title, they founded the hunting game genre and helped to jumpstart value-priced software. However, Sunstorm didn't stop there and developed 40 different games selling over 6 million copies worldwide. The realistic approach to gameplay in their hunting games became extremely popular among the amateurs of the genre. Finally iPhone users have a chance to enjoy amazing creations of Sunstorm in the palm of their hand.

"We are excited to get back into making games that are quick to learn and fun to play. So many games these days have exhaustive feature sets and steep learning curves and are just too complex for the average consumer. We feel that iPhone is the perfect device for reaching our type of audience." - said Anthony Campiti, president and founder of Sunstorm Interactive Inc.

Sunstorm Interactive, founded in May of 1995 by Anthony Campiti as a software development studio focused on game development, is best known as the creator of the run away hit Deer Hunter. Deer Hunter was the number one game in the country for three months in 1997, shocking industry experts, and spawning a new gaming genre - the hunting simulation. Sunstorm continued with its success, developing over 50 different games which have sold in excess of 6 million units worldwide. For more information, please visit Sunstorm Interactive online.
