Jan 13, 2009 - AssistiveWare today announced that at BETT it will preview Proloquo2Go, which uses Acapela Group's forthcoming iPhone text-to-speech to provide a full-fledged communication solution on the iPhone and iPod touch for people who cannot speak. Also previewed at BETT is the upcoming version of Infovox iVox, which introduces new British, Italian, Greek, Norwegian and Russian voices for the Mac. LaesieWorks artist Giesbert Nijhuis, who is paralyzed from the neck down due to a spinal cord injury, has partnered with AssistiveWare to bring his unique head designed artwork to a collection of exclusive apparel. Using his Mac, the KeyStrokes on-screen keyboard, a HeadMouse Extreme and Photoshop, Nijhuis draws with his head: Movie posters, birth announcements, cd covers, and now apparel.

Jun 25, 2008 - AssistiveWare today announced the release of KeyStrokes 4.1, an important new version of the award-winning on-screen keyboard with multilingual word prediction for Mac users with physical impairments. Version 4.1 is now Universal Binary, offers enhanced compatibility with Spaces, and on Leopard provides automatic layout switching when the user changes the keyboard layout in the Mac OS X Input menu. Also included is a newly released LayoutKitchen 2.1.1 keyboard editor.
