Capo helps musicians learn to play the music in their iTunes collection using their ears, and now also their eyes. Capo includes the ability to detect chords, and quickly create tablature from the songs that users are learning. The core of the update centers around a highly detailed spectrogram visualization that relies on OpenCL to compute. This release marks a huge leap forward in self-directed musical study.

Capo allows users to save their slowed and pitch-corrected audio for use on iPods while away from their Mac. Users can choose to export entire songs, or just a loop region that can be set to repeat on iPod devices. In addition to slowing, and pitch-adjusting music, Capo adds audio effects to help make learning easier.
