Proceeds from Frosty Dogs Sales this Weekend Go to Cancer Research

Oct 07, 2011 - To honor the memory of Steve Jobs, Frosty Dogs will be donating all proceeds from all product sales this weekend to fund pancreatic cancer research. "There are no early detection methods for this disease that has single-digit survival rates", says Mike Stewart, founder of Frosty Dogs. "I hope that this weekend Frosty Dogs and its customers can help fund the research necessary to increase early detection and survival rates of this insidious disease."

OLPC Partners With Macintosh Software Publisher In Pioneering Promo

Aug 04, 2009 - One Laptop per Child, a non-profit organization focused on providing educational tools to help children in developing countries "learn learning," today announced it will partner with PocketMac software in a unique fundraising promotion. This is the first time Macintosh software has been used as the lynchpin of a fundraising campaign. For every copy of RingtoneStudio 2 for iPhone sold, PocketMac will donate to OLPC.
