Feb 05, 2012 - iPhoneArt announces with 2487 submissions from around the globe, the 2nd annual iPhoneArt Mobile Art Grant was awarded to Carlein Van Der Beek of Holland. First runner up is Nettie Edwards of the United Kingdom, and second runner up is Cindy Patrick, of the United States. A comprehensive list of award winners, finalists, semi-finalists and honorable mentions can be seen on the IPA Mobile Art Grant page. Dec 15, 2011 - The second annual IPA Mobile Art Grant is open for submissions on iPhoneArt website. The IPA Grant, now in its second year, is the only international grant program specifically designed to provide financial support for mobile artists emerging at the top of their field. IPA's 2011 grant recipient will receive $1000 to help further his/her mobile art career. The top 20 entrants will be published in a book produced by IPA featuring the most influential mobile artists of 2011.

Sappi Fine Paper North America partnered with Project M, to find out the social causes and other ideas that were top of mind among conference attendees. The program has awarded $9 million in grants to support causes that range from youth centers and health care awareness to wildlife protection and sustainability.
