May 27, 2012 - Jason Fuerstenberg has announced Accent 1.1, a simple way for translators, developers, web designers or anybody to quickly find and copy accented characters and symbols on the Mac and iPad. Simply hover the mouse cursor over a character and buttons for copying the character and its URL escape code will appear. Version 1.1 sports a new icon, localized to Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish as well as minor optimizations.

May 26, 2012 - infiniteNIL has announced Phone Word 3.0 for iOS, an update to their Social Networking app, which generates words that a phone number spells out. For example, commercials frequently make a phone number memorable by saying, "Call 355-DUNK to buy basketball tickets," rather than the more mundane 355-3865. Phone Word users simply enter any phone number and the app generates a list of possible mnemonics. Phone words are easily saved, and the app's built-in, 26,000 word dictionary is expandable.

May 25, 2012 - Remoter Labs has announced Remoter VNC 3.6.0 for iOS, an update to their productivity app that allows users to remotely control Macs via Screen Sharing, and Windows or Linux PCs using the VNC or RDP standards right from their iOS devices. The app uses Bonjour to make setup a cinch, and also features a novel "virtual trackpad" to precisely control of the mouse cursor. Sound redirection, RDP, Telnet and SSH which also allows for secure VNC/RDP over SSH, are available as in-app purchases.

May 23, 2012 - Virginia based System Support Products, Inc. has announced Key Holder 2.0, a password manager application for Apple iOS devices. Key Holder allows quick and easy access to your online account login information. For each password account, the account name, user, password, Internet URL, and a memo field for miscellaneous notes can be kept. Additionally, Key Holder can also be used to keep lists of other secure information, such as software registration codes and more.

May 21, 2012 - Independent developer, Darragh Moriarty has announced TweetFlow 2.0, an update to his popular full-screen Twitter visualizer for iOS devices. TweetFlow, the 'second screen' Twitter app, aims to be the easiest way of watching Twitter on an iPhone or iPad. No Twitter account is required to use the app. Simply type a keyword or hashtag into the search box and tweets will begin to flow onto the screen.
