Although you can search recipes from the mygourmetrecipes database and use them in your collections the main idea behind the app is to create your own recipes. The features include recipe search, cookbooks, menus (create weekly menus with several different meal types per day), and news about food articles from members at mygourmetrecipes.

Quay extends the Dock's functionality, allowing the user to sort Stack menus in several useful ways, and see extra information for each item. Unlike the standard Dock, Quay always follows aliases or symbolic links, and works correctly even with folders containing tens of thousands of items. Version 1.1.3 adds support for Lion.

MenuStrip allows users to create their own menu items with their most commonly used applications, files, or folders. Users can also create "Action Buttons" that launch, hide, and quit groups of applications at once. MenuStrip's menu items can be displayed in the menu bar, or in a floating collapsable control strip that can be placed anywhere on the screen.

After visiting a few locations, Gruburg suggests the best venues to visit for the users specified taste wherever they are. Users know what they like to eat, but those who travel frequently or are adventurous want to eat at new locations. The difficulty is finding great food nearby, and the Gruburg app solves this issue.
