May 18, 2012 - Indie developer John Parron has announced ContactLaunch 2.2 for iOS, an update to his face-based, Address Book/App Launcher app. Emphasizing faces, not names, the app features many ways to import photos. In addition, ContactLaunch can launch popular apps such as Skype, FaceTime, and 18 different Twitter clients, including such favorites as Tweetbot and Twitterrific. The app can also launch the iPhone's native Phone app, along with using iMessage to send SMS, and Mail to write an email.

May 18, 2012 - Mobile Touch Tech has announced the release of Desk Calc 1.3 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users. This basic calculator app finally brings a truly full screen calculator to the App Store.
