May 02, 2012 - Ergonis Software has released PopChar X 5.2, an update to their tool for finding and inserting special characters. PopChar X 5.4 is now a universal 32/64-bit binary and requires Mac OS X 10.5.8 or newer to make best use of current system architectures. The new version also sports a new technique for inserting characters and comes with a simpler and faster animation when the PopChar window opens and closes. A couple of other improvements and fixes complete the list of changes.

This app provides not just a magnifier, it has 6X Zoom, Flash light and Save zoomed view to camera roll. Also compatible with iPhone 4S and iPad 2. Great for reading receipts under dim light in restaurants. Good for people who cannot read smaller text in books. It's helpful while you are searching for objects inside your car or reading in the dark.
