May 26, 2012 - UK based game publisher Funbox Media introduced TweetDAQ 1.0.1, its new social networking app for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. Using Twitter's Open API, TweetDAQ delivers a competitive game element to the Twitter phenomena. The free app charts performance on Twitter, recording weekly figures and all time highs across a number of measures. TweetDAQ offers Game Center integration, with leader boards, as well as unique stats such as 'Sphere of Influence.'

Phone Word users simply enter any phone number and the app generates a list of possible mnemonics. Phone words are easily saved, and the app's built-in, 26,000 word dictionary is expandable.

Skqueak users can share their stories with everyone or just people they choose. They can follow other Skqueak users and post Skqueaks to Facebook, Twitter, SMS, email or a blog. May 21, 2012 - Independent developer, Darragh Moriarty has announced TweetFlow 2.0, an update to his popular full-screen Twitter visualizer for iOS devices. TweetFlow, the 'second screen' Twitter app, aims to be the easiest way of watching Twitter on an iPhone or iPad. No Twitter account is required to use the app. Simply type a keyword or hashtag into the search box and tweets will begin to flow onto the screen. Version 2.0 introduces a new layout for the iPad, new History mode, improvements and bug fixes.

May 18, 2012 - Indie developer John Parron has announced ContactLaunch 2.2 for iOS, an update to his face-based, Address Book/App Launcher app. Emphasizing faces, not names, the app features many ways to import photos. In addition, ContactLaunch can launch popular apps such as Skype, FaceTime, and 18 different Twitter clients, including such favorites as Tweetbot and Twitterrific. The app can also launch the iPhone's native Phone app, along with using iMessage to send SMS, and Mail to write an email.

May 18, 2012 - MyClickApps LLC’s newest app called FeedsWire, hits the top 50 of the “What's New" section in the App Store in less than 36 hours after its official launch. FeedsWire is an RSS feed aggregator that enables users to group feeds together by category to stay organized and instantly share articles, tweets, and other media morsels they come across with their friends.
