May 23, 2012 - Corporate Smalltalk Consulting Ltd today announces PDF 1.8.9 for iOS, an update to its document viewer app that allows the user to view both complex, oversize, or large multi-page PDF documents. The app employs proprietary LargeViewer technology to convert and pre-render large documents for smooth scrolling, zooming and sub-second rendering. In addition to reading PDF files that are thousands of pages long, PDF 1.8.9 can easily deal with difficult to rendered scanned books found on archive.org.

May 22, 2012 - Corporate Smalltalk Consulting has announced Fax Reader 1.8.9 for iOS, an update to their document viewer app that allows the user to view the TIF files generated by office fax machines. As faxes are increasingly emailed to save on paper costs, Fax Reader works by supplementing the existing document display logic found in iOS 4 & 5, which only displays the first page of a fax but does not show page two. Fax Reader solves this problem by letting you see all the pages.

May 18, 2012 - California-based zuuka Comics announced the launch of Issues No. 4-6 of Don Bluth's Dragon's Lair Comic series. In Issue No. 4, Dirk the Daring has one day left to save Princess Daphne from the clutches of the the deadly dragon Singe. Issue No. 5 sees Dirk going further into the Dark Kingdom. Based on the original classic arcade game released in 1983, the first-ever digital release of Don Bluth's Dragon's Lair Comic is available for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.
